I'm a Software Developer based out of Boise Idaho. What I am passionate about is taking on tough issues that require innovative solutions. I enjoy creating software that helps and solves issues that directly benefits the users effected. I often times find that processes/systems in many industries are not maxmially efficient and I enjoy, with the incredible power of the computer, developing software solutions that make the overall system better.

GIMM Studio

An on-going project made up of 20+ student peers working on implementing a virtual learning space in response to COVID-19. Project managed to imitate a real game design studio.

  • - Developed software components in a 5 member technical team.
  • - Collaborated with other teams consisting of animators/modelers, programmers, UI+UX designers, and management leaders.
  • - Implemented an interactive web browser for custom user based experiences.

  • VR Gunship

    Gunship is a virtual reality base defender built on the Oculus where the player is the operator of three artillery cannons aboard the AC-130 Gunship. The player must defend a central stronghold and flex their air superiority and rain down hell against waves of attacking alien invaders.

    • - Explored unique VR solutions for gameplay playability.
    • - An individual three year exploration into Virtual Reality development.

    This app was prototyped for the surrounding Boise Schools as an educational tool to help kids with autism understand hygiene.

    Features:

    • - Displays animations/voiceover/UI depending on what image marker the camera is looking at.
    • - Uses Augmented Reality to try and help autistic kids learn good hygiene practices.
    • - Originally developed in XCode using Swift, ported over to Unity using ARFoundations.

    A simple desktop python application that helps keep track of daily tasks.

    • - Saves and updates tasks permanently to a .DAT file.
    • - Performs C.R.U.D operations.

    A board game themed deathrace course where players race against eachother to finish first whilst dodging deadly obstacles.

    • - Course and obstacle placements are procedurally generated.

    A defender game where the player is a frog who needs to eat all the dragonflies before they eat all its eggs.

    • - Dragonfly AI is trained using a neural net using TensorFlow.

    Bacon Threat is a game where the player must collect the good bacon while avoiding the burnt bacon and the oil hotspots.
